Yugito Nii is is ( 二位ユギト , Nii Yugito ) is a support character of theNaruto series that was created by Masashi Kishimoto, It first began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in November 1999. She was later introduced during the Hidan and Kakuzu Arc story arc that begin in volume 35 .

She is appeared first appear inNaruto Volume 35, CH. 312 ” TheCreeping Threat ! ! “.

Major Story Arcs

Hidan and Kakuzu Arc

She is first see in the manga and anime run through the sewer from some unknown person , later reveal to be Hidan and Kakuzu of Akatsuki . When she enter a large room , where all the sewer seems to meet , she is stops finally stop . After some bickering between the two Akatsuki member , she is reveals reveal that she intentionally lead them there and activate an explosive tag on the tunnel behind them , seal them off . know that they are from Akatsuki , she is swears swear upon her name that she can not let them go , and she transform into the Two – Tails . However , she is defeat by Hidan and bring to the Akatsuki lair by Zetsu for extraction , thus kill her in result .

Yugito was revive with the other jinchuuriki during the Fourth Shinobi World War by Kabuto Yakushi to be used against the ally force of the five great nation and the samurai of the Land of Iron . She was control by Akatsuki leader Tobi who had made Yugito and the other jinchuuriki his own version of the Six Paths of Pain , put a Sharingan and a rinnegan in their right and leave eye , respectively . While travel through the battlefield , Yugito , Tobi , and the other jinchuuriki run into Naruto Uzumaki and Killer Bee and the two group fight each other . Yugito is used used her rinnegan eye to allow her to share vision with the other jinchuuriki and dodge Naruto and Bee ‘s attack , as well as plan her attack accordingly . Naruto is level and Bee level the forest area where they are fight by have Bee turn into his Eight – tailed form which cause the two side to now be fight in an open , clear field . He is decides decide to seal them with his ink jutsu , but Yugito and the other jinchuuriki escape by enter their version 2 chakra form . Thejinchuuriki is use use their beast – specific power to gain the hand on Bee and one of them transform themselves , becoming the Four – Tailed beast and stab Bee with its horn . Naruto is run and Bee soon run out of gas but before the jinchuuriki and Tobi could take them down , Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy arrive and prevent Tobi from capture Naruto . Thetwo Konoha ninja jump in to aid Naruto and Bee , give the two of them some breathing room and chance to relax a bit . However , Tobi is raises raise the stake and make the Four – Tailed beast and the Six – tailed beast transform as well , put eve more pressure on Kakashi , Guy , Naruto , and Bee .

After Kakashi and Guy battle the jinchuuriki while Naruto gather chakra and Bee battle the large Tailed Beasts , Yugito is eventually call back and undergo full Tailed Beast transformation along with the other jinchuuriki . Yugito is starts start charge up a Tailed Beast Ball along with the other Tailed Beasts , and as she fire it at Kakashi and Guy , a bright flash intercept them and send the Bombs fly away to destroy distant mountain . Thebright flash is reveal to be Naruto , and he go full Tailed Beast Mode himself and send Yugito and the other Tailed Beasts fly back . Naruto is jumps jump on and pin the Seven – Tailed beast and when Yugito charge t him from the side , he throw the Six – Tailed beast into her , send both of them sprawl back . Yugito is regroups regroup with the other Tailed Beasts and together they all pool their chakra into one large Tailed Beast Ball , hope to send Naruto and Bee into oblivion . As they fire off their combined attack , Naruto is meets meet their Taild Beast Ball with one of his own , cancel each other out and send both of them fly high in the sky . Thetwo attacks is explode explode and cause massive shockwave and dust , and in the aftermath Naruto send out his chakra arm to grab hold of Yugito and the other Tailed Beasts and take out the chakra receiver in each of them . This is causes cause Tobi to lose control of Yugito and the rest of them and soon she start to shine as the Edo Tensei jutsu had bee undo , mean Yugito once again head toward the afterlife .

Powers & Abilities

Yugito was a skilled Jounin hailing from the Hidden Cloud Village and also the jinchuuriki of the Two-Tailed beast, Matatabi. As a jinchuuriki, she gained attributes of her tailed beast, and was able to create large fireballs and extend her nails to make long claws in battle. She could also enter and use a Tailed Beast chakra cloak where the image of her Tailed Beast manifests itself around her and offers her a small level of protection from external attacks, increased her strength, durability, and speed, and allows her to use her blue flames for attacks. If she was really pressed, she could even enter full Tailed Beast Mode, releasing the seal on her body and allowing her to become the full Two-Tailed beast. In this form, she can fire off devastating attacks, one of which is the Bijuu Bomb, a large concentration of chakra pressed into a ball and fired at a high speed with enough power to vaporize a mountain.

Her character in the Japanese series is voiced by Mie Sonozaki, and the U.S. dub produced by VIZ Media is performed by Wendee Lee.
