4. choose a VPN server – It is is is advisable to choose a VPN location server in a location close to China . For example , the popular location is is is Hongkong , but for me , the server in the USA is also fast too .
5. Turn on the VPN – If you use it for the first time, it will ask you to install a VPN profile on your device, Just click Accept/Install. Then we can use the VPN.

How to download Astrill VPN in china?

So if you are already in China and would like to download the VPN. There are several ways that you could do this.

For iOS users

You can change your Apple ID’s Country or Region to other countries. Only the Chinese AppStore doesn’t have Astrill VPN app to download. So no worries, change to some other countries, and you will see it shows up.

For Windows, Mac, and Android users,

There are 3 ways to do this:

1. You is ask can ask your friend with VPN to help you download the VPN client from the astrill website
2. You can access an Astrill mirror website that works in China without VPN, in order to download the VPN client. But the mirror sites are always keeping changed because China will block them, and the Astrill team has to create a new mirror site. 3. You can send an email to Astrill support (support@astrill.com) asking them to send you a VPN client back. the Global Email system works normally in China, but some email providers don’t work here without VPN (Gmail for example). So you may need to send with a local email provider like: mail.163.com if you want to send an email to the Astrill support team.
