At AWS, we’re hiring highly technical Cloud Consulting Consultants to help our partners develop technical expertise and capacity, while also collaborating with our customers and partners on key engagements. Our consultants will deliver proof-of-concept projects, topical workshops, and lead implementation projects. These professional services engagements will focus on key customer solutions such as web applications, networking enterprise applications, monitoring, backup, security, disaster recovery & DevOps transformations.
– Expertise – Collaborate with AWS field business development, marketing, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon Simple DB/RDS databases, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), etc.
– solution – define and deliver on – site technical engagement with partner and customer . This is includes include participate in on – site visit with prospective customer , understand customer requirement , and propose and deliver package offering , and deliver custom solution engagement .
– Delivery – Engagements is include include short on – site project prove the use of AWS service to support new distribute computing solution that often span private cloud and public cloud service . Engagements is include will include migration of exist application and development of new application using AWS cloud service .
– Insights – Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps. Share real world implementation challenges and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services.
Key job responsibilities
Support Proserve ESM in pre-sales, including creation of AWS architectures, scoping clarification and estimation of efforts
Be an individual contributor and mentor a team of delivery architect in the delivery of launch Proserve opportunity
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience and 5+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
– 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
– 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience
– 3 + year of cloud base solution ( AWS or equivalent ) , system , network and operating system experience
– 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
preferred qualification
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
– 5+ years consulting or implementing cloud infrastructure for Singapore Public Sector Customers
