Tech firms love infrastructure. The technology has a self-service cloud portal for provisioning services and works with a single “management console” for operations and automation. New integrated workflows will simplify the transition between operations and automation tasks, while enhanced insights and analytics will enable more proactive management.

Complex Storage Topologies

Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware in November 2023 has created diverse opinions among the technology industry with predictable staff changes and product repositioning inevitably playing a central role in the consumption of VMware into the parent organization’s family. With some water now under the bridge, the integration of Broadcom and VMware technology results in capabilities to handle more complex storage topologies into existing VMware environments. A new memory tiering capability will enhance data-intensive applications, such as AI, databases and real-time analytics.
