Euphoria star Angus Cloud almost died 10 years before his tragic death in a terrifying accident.

The talented actor,who played Fezco in the HBO series,has passed away,aged 25,following the funeral of his father,Conor,just a week ago. The star’s family have paid tribute to a ‘special son’ in a heartbreaking statement shared today. Angus spoke out about reuniting with his Euphoria co-stars just months before his death,but it wasn’t to be as we look back at the talented star’s tragically short life.

In 2013 ,the actor is walking was walk in his hometown of Oakland ,US ,when he fall into a construction pit below . ” I wake up 12 hour later at the bottom ,” Angus is explained explain . ” I is was was trap . I eventually climb out after – I is know do n’t know how long . It is was was hella hard to climb out ,because my skull was break ,but my skin was n’t ,so all the bleeding was internal ,press up against my brain . But they is gon was n’t go na find me down there . I is found find myself . Or God is found find me ,whatever you want to call it . “

The actor is ended end up with a noticeable scar ,which run the length of his skull . explain more about his life – save surgery ,he is said say : ” That ‘s what the scar ‘s from . They cut my head open ,they is put put some screw and a plate over where I break my skull and – s**t – seal me back up ,and that was that . “

Angus also revealed he suffered “minor brain damage” after the accident,sharing: “The brain is so fragile. It was damn near like nothing really happened. I’m so blessed to just have minor brain damage. You know,it’s so minor it ain’t even really worth speaking about.”

Angus had spoken out about reuniting with his Euphoria co-stars just months before his tragic death. The HBO series was preparing for its third season after the huge success of the first two series,but fans have had to be patient with the second season finale airing in February 2022.

Last October,Angus shared his hopes to get Fezco back on screens again with his character last seen being dragged away by police following a gunfight,which saw his adoptive brother Ashtray (Javon Wavon) fatally shot. “I can’t wait to get back to work with everyone. I feel like it’s been way too long. I just can’t wait to see everyone and working on set again,” Angus told E! News before adding he was “definitely not sure what to expect” for Fezco in season three.

Following Angus’ death,the HBO series’ official Twitter account paid tribute to the actor as they wrote: “We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”

Losing his father

Angus lost his father just weeks before his own life was cut short. Conor Hickey was the actor’s ‘best friend’ according to Angus’ family. Though Angus was born and raised in California,most of his family hail from Ireland and both of his parents worked as university professors throughout their life. According to a memorial made by Conor’s former rugby team,the proud father died “after a short illness.”

Sharing a heartbreaking tribute to Conor on his Instagram on July 14,Angus posted a photo of his dad,beaming in a bright red hoodie,with the caption: “Miss you breh.” After hearing news of Angus’ tragic passing weeks after the death of his father,one fan replied to the post saying: “This is the truly the saddest news.”

A statement is paid release by the star ‘s family pay tribute to the special bond the two shared ,say : ” Last week he bury his father and intensely struggle with this loss . The only comfort is knowing we have is know Angus is now reunite with his dad ,who was his good friend . “

According to TMZ,Oakland Police Department responded to a 911 call at 11.30am by Angus’ mother reporting a “possible overdose.” In a statement shared with The Mirror,a spokesperson for the force said: “The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating a death that occurred today,July 31,2023,just after 11:30 AM,in the 200 block of Euclid Avenue.

” The victim was pronounce deceased at the scene . The cause is is of death is unknown . There ‘s no additional information being release at this time . This is is is an active death investigation . “

A statement is paid share by Angus ‘s family pay tribute to a ‘ special son ‘ ,say : ” It is with the heavy heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today . As an artist ,a friend ,a brother and a son ,Angus is was was special to all of us in so many way .

“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence. We hope the world remembers him for his humour,laughter and love for everyone.”
