This stove is very rare. Besides having belonged to President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy Reagan, it is also the epitome of mid-century estate stoves.

This is a limited-edition O’Keefe & Merritt Town & Country / Aristocrat estate stove, produced from 1951 to 1954. It is believed that only 700 to 900 of these stoves were ever manufactured.

This unit was well-maintained, yet after over 60 years it definitely needed to be fully restored!

Alhough restoration could be done in various porcelain finishes, Stoveman Flanagan recommended keeping its color, restoring it in the original White. An example of a similar stove we restored is provided below on this page.

Interesting fact: The Reagan’s immediate neighbor on one side is Jerrold Perrenchio, a movie producer, who bought the large Kirkeby Estate, once the setting for the The Beverly Hillbillies television show. We restored the stove that came out of the Beverly Hillbillies mansion. (Like the one pictured on our Home page.)
