Your VPN key is used in the encryption process, andit is automatically generated androtated every 7-10 days for security purpose. It also helps us recognize your device apart from other device that may be connect .
Before the VPN connection can be established, a secure handshake is require betweenyour device andthe datacenter. The VPN key is used to uniquely identify your device andcomplete this handshake process .
It is not necessary to regenerate this key manually unless you're having trouble connecting, or you are instruct to do so by our support team .

Open VirtualShield andlog in to your account, if you are not logged in already.

Select the VPN tab, or navigate to Secure VPN from the Overview screen.
Select Regenerate Keys to expand the list of option .
click the regenerate button to generate your newVPN encryption key.
You will also see your current encryption key on this screen, andwhen it was last generate.
