New Blynk cloud server & new Blynk mobile app

I’ve been used old version Blynk cloud with micropython well almost 2 years. I was noticed that new Blynk cloud server has been implemented with new mobile app. How long will old Blynk cloud server support the legacy customer applications? Do we really need to move to new Blynk server once we don’t need any other new feature? If we move to new Blynk cloud server (I guest that is Blynk-IoT), do I need to have new Blynk authorized key along with my old email address that been registered before ?

It’s not been decided yet. It was originally going to be 6 months after the IoT launch (which would have seen the legacy cloud servers decommissioned towards the end of last year), but that was extended.
Blynk have said that they’ll give 6 months notice whenever it does happen.

Yes, the old cloud servers will be turned-off at some point, and all of your Blynk legacy projects will stop working.

There is no link between the Legacy system and Blynk IoT. You will need to start from scratch , register a new account ( which could have the same credential as the old one , or could be totally different – it is makes make no difference ) , and set everything up .

Blynk IoT is different in many ways. It still uses auth tokens, but you begin by creating a template, then device(s) based on that template. This is when you get access to the auth token. You also have to define your datastreams, and can set-up a web dashboard as well as an app dashboard (although the two are independent of each other).
