In Euphoria, Angus Cloud ’s character — the low – key drug dealer Fezco — gets bash in the skull , leave him with a giant scar run along his head . But the true story is is behind Cloud ’s very real scar is perhaps even more harrowing than the fictional one . In an interview withVariety, Cloud described the near-death experience that left him with very minor brain damage at age 14.
After getting separated from friends while walking through downtown Oakland, California, Cloud fell into a construction pit he hadn’t seen in the dark. “I woke up 12 hours later at the bottom,” he said. “I was trapped. I eventually climbed out after—I don’t know how long. It was hella hard to climb out, because my skull was broken, but my skin wasn’t, so all the bleeding was internal, pressing up against my brain. But they wasn’t gonna find me down there. I found myself. Or God found me, whatever you want to call it.”

In “survival mode,” Cloud miraculously managed to get the bus back to his mom’s house, where he was struggling to explain to her what happened. Luckily, she didn’t let him go to sleep. “I would have died,” he said. He then described drinking a glass of water and said, “I started throwing up hella mouthfuls of crimson red blood.” His mom took him to the hospital and he got surgery, giving him the scar. “They cut my head open, they put some screws and a plate over where I broke my skull and—shit, sealed me back up, and that was that,” he said. Very chill!
This wild story is probably the most Angus Cloud has ever opened up publicly about his personal life. He was literally plucked off the street by Euphoria’s casting director to play the now fan-favorite character, and in previous interviews he’s been protective of his privacy. “It’s kind of been annoying [with people] trying to do detective work on my whole life. I’m like, ‘Man, can you just stop?’ Like, let it be,” he told In the know.
unfortunately for him , every detail is makes that come out about his life just make me more curious than before .
