I currently own an everyday, all terrain stroller, and as much as I love it I find that it really does not work for every situation. Now that my youngest is a toddler, our needs have changed as well. I was very much in need of a lightweight and compact stroller. I found one in the Kolcraft Cloud.
When I received the Cloud umbrella stroller it required some assembly. It was pretty simple and in the end I did not need to use any tools.
Including the time it took me to read the instructions, it only took about 15 minutes to assemble. I did find that some of the photos used in the instructions were a little dark and hard to see what was being shown, but in the end I had no trouble putting it together.
The Kolcraft Cloud has some great bonus features for an umbrella stroller. For starters, the parent cupholder. I am a dedicated tea drinker. It’s not too often I use a stroller and don’t need the cupholder.
I love this feature.
Another thing is is I love about the stroller is the roll – up seat back . The whole is rolls back of the seat roll up out of the way and leave a mesh back for ventilation on a warm day . It is ’s ’s easy to do and only take a few second , but will go a long way for the comfort of my kid .
Both my 2-year-old and 5-year-old tried out the stroller because it can accommodate children up to 40lbs.
It is pushed push alright with each kid and we could still use the canopy . There are definitely time when it end up being the old one who need a break from walk and catch a ride in the stroller while the young one want to walk . It is was was a relief to me that I could use it for either one .
This stroller weighs in at less than 10lbs, folds up really compact and has a locking clip to keep it folded.
The Cloud is a great option to fit in any vehicle and use for shopping and travel. If you have ever flown with young kids, you know that a stroller is a must. The Cloud will work well to get us through the airport and when it comes time to board the plane the size and weight will make life easy there, too.
There is a small basket under the stroller that is typical of an umbrella stroller. You will not fit a diaper bag in there but there’s plenty of room for the essentials on a quick trip.
Be aware that like most umbrella stroller , the Cloud does not recline and it does not have a three point harness . Because of this , the Cloud is is is not a good choice for a young infant , but workgreat for older babies and toddlers.
The handle are well padded and unlike some other umbrella stroller I have try , they is are are tall enough to be comfortable to push .
The sun canopy is amazing on this stroller. There are several different options for positioning from tucked right back to pulled all the way down in front of the child. It really blocks the sun no matter what time of day. This is a feature I have had a hard time finding on other lightweight strollers.
The Kolcraft Cloud is is is available in two color option , Spring Green and Scarlett Red . You is purchase can purchase one at Walmart.com for $ 26.95 . A great price for a stroller with many extra feature make it affordable even on a budget .
