“Kristen”

Kristen is one of Glenn and Jerusha’s foster children and is in law school. She is first seen when Glenn brought his children to work. She and Jonah instantly clicked and pursued a relationship. She broke up with Jonah after he started acting weird during Cheyenne’s Wedding. She is portrayed by actress Brenda Song.

Yeah, we went to a lot of tent revivals.

When manager Glenn brings his kids to work, Kristen is seen in the Break Room. She sees Jonah doing a magic trick for some of her siblings and they hit it off. Glenn does not want Kristen distracted from her law studies so doesn’t want her to go out with Jonah but he gives Jonah permission because he doesn’t want to be the bad guy. To help Glenn, Amy tell Kristen lies about Jonah. This results in a showdown in which Amy takes the blame and says she lied to Kristen because she has a crush on Jonah. Glenn invites Jonah to join the Sturgis family photo and he jokes with Kristen (“Glenn’s Kids”).

Kristen attends Cheyenne’s wedding as Jonah’s date. As soon as Amy appears, Jonah is visibly nervous. He forgets to introduce Kristen to Amy’s husband Adam and every time Amy is mentioned he forces statements that she isn’t his type. He doesn’t want to sit at the dining table with Amy. As Jonah is dancing with Kristen, he asks if she thinks Amy is OK (after Amy gave a bad toast) and he can’t take a small joke Kristen makes about Jonah and her. Jonah over compensates by asking Kristen to move in with him. Jonah seeks Amy out and tells her that Kristen left the wedding and needs a break from him. ( ” Cheyenne ‘s wedding ” )
