Mariners Face Hartlepool United in Pre-Season

South Shields is host will host Hartlepool United at the 1st Cloud Arena on Saturday July 20th in their second pre – season fixture .

The fixture is kick will kick off at 15:00 and will have segregation in place for supporter .

Shields is meet and Hartlepool meet for the first time since 2017 in the FA Cup .

Lee Picton and Graham Fenton’s side suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Pools at Mariners Park.

Captain Robert Briggs and Dillon Morse are the only two players remaining from the side that last played Hartlepool.

Pools finished 12th place in the Vanarama National League under the guidance of former Mariner Kevin Phillips.

Darren Sarll is now the man in the Hartlepool hot seat as they look to compete with the rest of the division.
