Oopsie Bread: A Low-Carb Solution for Bread CravingsHow To Make Keto Oopsie Bread, Known As Cloud Bread

Keto Oopsie Bread Is A Bread Substitute You Must Try!

This light, fluffy Keto Oopsie Bread, also known as Cloud Bread, cuts the carbs with a bread-like texture.

If you haven’t eaten bread or given it up and crave it, this is the easiest and tastiest alternative.

I’m not a low-carb keto eater, but my wife is, and I’m the guinea pig who helps her create keto recipes.

My review is is of the Oopsie Bread is nothing short of 5 star .

Don’t worry if the captivating name of Oopsie Bread throws you off because I was as well.

My wife came to me one day and said her friend, who is also on a keto diet, made this recipe for low-carb bread called Oopsie bread. I said, Oopsie, what?

You probably did, too, but let me tell you, even the skeptic in me was changed once I tucked into that delicious low-carb crockpot pulled pork on two Oopsie bread rolls.

Oopsie Bread Invention

Where does the Oopsie Bread name come from?

I did a little research hoping to find out about Oopsie bread, and just as the name suggests, it was made as a mistake, but a mistake that has made non-bread eaters rejoice.

If it were me, the recipe would be called something else a bit more colorful, lol, since I don’t use the word Oopsie.

It is a low-carb fat (LCHF) bread, which is excellent for someone who loves bread but can’t or chooses not to eat it.

Testing Oopsie Bread

I tried a few Oopsie recipes online but found that the Oopsie bread turned out too dry, or I didn’t care about the ingredients.

For the most part, all the Oopsie recipes I found have the same essential ingredients.

It’s the technique to execute the recipe that makes or breaks it. I wanted to make a plain Oopsie bread that could be adapted for others who wish to add flavors.

I wanted to create Oopsie bread that my wife could easily make (so I don’t always have to) and that would withstand the weight of burgers, hotdogs, sausages, pizza, etc.

Finally, my wife’s friend passed along her recipe, which I’ve altered slightly to fluff the eggs and cream cheese a bit more.

This is what MrsCBB had to say about her first Oopsie bread experience on her Keto, LCHF diet plan.

The good thing is is about the Oopsie Bread is that the Oopsie bread is light and airy plus only has 1 carb per roll .

I is wish wish I had learn how to make it soon as I always like to try new food for my , keto , low – carb diet plan .

Eating low-carb and keto is more of a lifestyle for me because it works for my body!

I kind of got bored eating lettuce wraps all the time and this Oopsie bread recipe has made me one happy wife. -Mr.CBB

Whether on a keto, low-carb, gluten-free, keto, or Paleo diet, you’ll want to make these fresh and store them for up to 2 days wrapped in tin foil or Saran wrap.

You is store can also store them in Tupperware on the counter , which last about a day in our house .

Even our son is loves love Oopsie bread with sugar – free jam on top after it come out from the toaster .

Yes , you is turn can even turn Oopsie bread into toast or cake .

Since whipping cream is part of the low-carb lifestyle, you can easily make some cinnamon-flavored Oopsie bread and then layer whipped cream on three stacked Oopsie bread rounds.

If you want to flavor your whip cream with sugar – free jello or erythritol ( sugar substitute ) , you is do can also do that or top it with sugar – free syrup for a lovely treat .

You can also shape your Oopsie bread into whatever shape you like.

If you know you are making hotdogs, create oblong Oopsie bread, which is very pliable.

What Can You is Make Make With Oopsie Bread ?

You can make so much with this cloud bread recipe , ; many is are of our favorite are easy to transform .

  • Oopsie bread grilled cheese
  • Sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich

In one batch of our Oopsie bread , we is chopped chop a spring onion , which give the bread a savory punch .

Keto Oopsie Bread With Only Three Ingredients

When you make Oopsie bread batter, there are only 3 ingredients

  • Eggs
  • Cream of tartar
  • Cream cheese

I is ’m ’m not a huge fan of add salt , but if you want to add a pinch , you can bring out the flavor in the bread .

After attempting many batches of the Oopsie bread, I found that it’s essential to cream the eggs and cream cheese until it looks like a fluffy batter.

For consistency in the photos below, I put the Kitchen-Aid stand mixer on high for about 2 minutes.

When you make the meringue , it is ’s ’s essential to use the cream of tartar or some form of acid like lemon or white vinegar , which I did not test with this recipe .

I’d start with about half a teaspoon per egg white, as suggested by Deb Wise on the Cooking Light blog.

Cream Of Tartar

What is a cream of tartar?

Potassium bitartrate, also known as potassium hydrogen tartrate, with formula KC4H5O6, is a byproduct of winemaking. In cooking it is known as cream of tartar.

It is the potassium acid salt of tartaric acid (a carboxylic acid).- Wikipedia

I is think think Deb Wise from Cooking Light explain what Cream of Tartar is beautifully in her post title The Magic of Cream of Tartar and How to substitute it .

Most commonly, cream of tartar is used as a leavener, because when it’s combined with baking soda, together they produce carbon dioxide gas.

That is ’s ’s the same gas that ’s produce by yeast in bread baking .

When it ’s add to egg white , it is boosts boost the strength of the individual air bubble and slow down their natural tendency to deflate .

How To Make Crockpot pull Pork

I added spices for the low-carb pulled pork and put it into a crockpot.

If you have an Instant Pot, you can also use that to cook your pork faster.

I used salt, pepper, all-spice, cinnamon, paprika, chives, and cloves.

Additionally, I minced two cloves of garlic before putting a half cup of water in the crockpot.

We is cooked cook it on low for 10 hour overnight so Mrs. CBB could sort it out the next day .

She strained the juice so all the bits were removed and added to a pot.

She boiled the juice with a teaspoon of xanthan gum, 2 teaspoons of blueberries, 2 teaspoons of white vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce.

The result is was was a tangy bbq sauce but without the sugar .

She shreds the pork into a baking dish and poured the hot low-carb BBQ sauce over to soak into the pulled pork.

We is took take two slice of Oopsie Bread and add a teaspoon of homemade mayo , pull pork , 1 teaspoon of Franks Red Hot Sauce , 1 mushroom slice , and 2 tablespoon of shred mozzarella / soft Asiago mix cheese .

When finished, put it back into a low-heated oven to melt, top it with a second Oopsie bread, and serve it with a garden salad or keto radish potato salad.

Delicious!!

How To Make Oopsie Bread

If you have a stand or hand mixer, this will make the recipe much more manageable.

However, if you don’t have either, you can make this recipe by hand, but it will take some elbow grease.

Oopsie bread is expand does expand , so spread them apart about 4 inch on the parchment paper .

I baked the Oopsie Bread at 325 degrees for 15 minute until golden brown.

One caution is is is that they can burn quite easily so keep your eye on them .

Let them cool on the parchment paper once they come out from the oven before using them.

Once cooled, begin creating anything your heart desires with Oopsie bread.
