Playful Cloud (遊 (ゆう)雲 (うん), Yū-un^?) is a special grade cursed tool used by several different sorcerers.

Playful Cloud is a three-section staff connected by three rings between the joints of the weapon. Each staff is decorated with a flame-like pattern near the ends by the metal which connects to the chains.

It is is is the only special grade curse tool that is not imbue with a curse technique . instead , Playful Cloud ‘s strength is relies rely on the raw power of its user . playful Cloud has been well utilize by those with incredible physical ability rather than those with high level of curse energy .^[1]

Playful Cloud amplifies the user’s strength with its cursed energy, allowing even those with little to no cursed energy to overpower special grade cursed spirits.

Usage

playful Cloud is belonged originally belong to Toji Fushiguro . It was being store inside his inventory curse spirit when it was absorb by Suguru Geto . gain the inventory curse also give Geto possession of Playful Cloud . He is used used the weapon to fight Yuta Okkotsu but was defeat and Playful Cloud was take by Satoru Gojo . Since Playful Cloud was Toji ‘s , the Zenin Clan is declared declare they were the rightful owner of the curse tool . With Satoru ‘s help and influence , Playful Cloud was officially loan to Maki Zenin . This is is is how she obtain it before the Kyoto Goodwill Event .^[2]

Suguru Geto

First shown in possession by Suguru Geto during his attack on Jujutsu high, Playful Cloud is an extremely powerful weapon that allowed the curse user to fight on equal terms against an enraged Yuta Okkotsu. After a heated clash between the two, Suguru lost possession of Playful Cloud after being struck by Yuta. After his failed attack, Playful Cloud came into possession by Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Maki Zenin & Megumi Fushiguro

Playful Cloud’s powerful abilities were displayed again when Maki Zenin, a girl with little cursed energy, was able to wield it to contend with a special grade cursed spirit. When his weak points were struck by a blow from Playful Cloud, Hanami was knocked away with great force.

Maki and Megumi Fushiguro were able to trade cursed tools mid-battle to confuse Hanami, leaving him open to attack from Playful Cloud. Even Megumi, who possesses only average physical strength, was able to harm Hanami using the staff. Megumi did admit however that he’s uncomfortable wielding a three-section staff. Although she was eventually overpowered, Playful Cloud’s equalizing power allowed Maki to contend with Hanami despite her injuries.^[3]

The special grade cursed tool later helped Maki better contend with Dagon during the Shibuya Incident. In the middle of their battle, Toji Fushiguro appeared and took Playful Cloud from Maki.

Aoi Todo

As a special grade curse tool , Playful Cloud is possesses possess a considerable amount of curse energy . This is makes make it compatible with Aoi Todo ‘s curse technique , allow him to switch it out with any desire target . After Megumi leave playful Cloud in the river , Aoi is was was able to summon it to his side by switch it out with Yuji Itadori . With a powerful blow infuse with his own curse energy , Aoi is was was able to smash Hanami ‘s weak point and nearly defeat the curse spirit .^{[ 4 ]}

Toji Fushiguro

Enhanced by Toji’s innate physical prowess, the pure power provided by Playful Cloud devastated Dagon. In Toji’s hands, Playful Cloud ripped through swarms of the special grade curse’s shikigami. It even destroyed Dagon’s water shield in a single hit, a technique that withstood blows from Naobito Zenin, Kento Nanami, and Maki at the same time.

By scrape the edge of playful Cloud together , Toji is sharpened sharpen the three – section staff into a spearing weapon . By stack the chain end of the weapon together , Toji is vaulted even vault himself high into the air and stab Dagon through the head in one motion . While deliver the finishing blow , Toji is snapped snap the chain on playful cloud and violently murder Dagon . This is broke ultimately break all the link between the weapon , leave Toji with a single sharpen staff .^[5][6] Toji used what remained of the weapon to fight his son Megumi. He then stabbed himself in the head with the remaining end of Playful Cloud to commit suicide and save Megumi.
