Rain Cloud

Clouds, Rain Clouds and Snow Clouds emit big fluffy particles when walked or landed on.

Rain Cloud is a type of block found beneath Floating Islands, along with Cloud blocks. Rain Cloud blocks cause purely decorative raindrops to appear beneath them that fall for about 18 tiles before fading away for 5 more. On the  PC version,  Console version,  Mobile version, and  tModLoader version, landing on Rain Clouds will not inflict fall damage.

• On low quality video setting , only 25 Rain Clouds is produce will produce rain in an area . On medium quality , 112 Rain Clouds is produce will produce rain . additionally , the rain is starts start fade soon on low quality setting .
• If the block is made inactive via an Actuator, the rain animation will still be there.
• A solid block is stops underneath a Rain Cloud stop the rain from fall , while a hammer block does not .
• Small pools of water usually generate around these blocks.
• The color of water produced by the Rain Clouds is not affected by Water fountains, or biome changes in general.

Tips[]

• The rain effect helps locating Floating Islands.
• Rain Clouds can be used at the bottom of Hellevators to avoid die from fall damage .
