Thales is added add to UK Government ’s G – Cloud framework for fifth consecutive iteration

Global technology company Thales have been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) G-Cloud 13 framework. G-Cloud13 is the UK Government’s procurement framework. Thales’ cloud services have been available on the framework since G-Cloud 9, making it the fifth time that this has been achieved by the company.

How it works

G-Cloud 13 is the latest version of a framework operated by the CCS that enables public sector organisations to more easily procure cloud software and services. It forms part of the Government’s digital marketplace. The framework allows for faster and cheaper procurement via an agreement established between government and suppliers. Buyers are able to procure directly from a supplier, rather than needing to enter into individual procurement contracts.

Thales ’s cloud service

By being added to G-Cloud 13, Thales can continue to be purchased through the platform until November 2023. CCS have the right to extend the agreement for a further 12 months beyond November if they so choose.

Thales will supply over 20 services within the categories of cloud hosting, cloud support and cloud software. G-Cloud 13 also now adds new Thales services such as assured encryption, secure trusted access and cloud HSM.

Thales are a trusted cyber solutions provider for digital transformation, particularly where safety and security are critical.
