Xbox Cloud Gaming iOS how to download

In order to take advantage of Xbox Cloud Gaming on iOS, you need to add the webpage as an app icon to your home screen. As this service is still in beta, there isn’t actually an app to download just yet, however, fear not, after you’ve set this up it becomes as easy as clicking an icon in order to start your play session.

  1. Open your default browser and navigate over to xbox.com/play
  2. Press the ‘Sign In’ button and log into your Microsoft account which is linked to your active Xbox Game Pass membership. This should then direct you to the Xbox Cloud Gaming home page.
  3. Press the share button at the bottom of your screen and select ‘Add to Home Screen’ and then press ‘Add’ on the popup.
  4. This should add an Xbox Cloud Gaming icon to your iOS home screen, press this and sign in again

Once you have done this, you’re all set. In the future, you shouldn’t be prompted to sign in again and instead, you should be redirected straight to the Xbox Cloud Gaming home page where you’re ready to play. You’ll find Fortnite on the list of available games to play here.
